Giving…Until It Makes Us Smile (or Not?)

(posted by Jeanne on 12-29-2010)

Tara AsksJeanne, just a thought…..sometimes people put a lot into gift giving, making sure the gift is special to the recipient. What do you suggest when kids put themselves into a gift, but the one they get in return doesn’t offer the same attention to detail? This is something we recently had to address and I just thought this subject might be discussion worthy this holiday!!

ZLL Answers … What a great topic to write about following the highs and lows of the holiday season. I’ve grappled with Read more »

Thanks…With or Without Giving?

Light & Sweet:
Reaching out to others can be our ‘thank you note’ to the world… an active form of gratitude and a busy sort of prayer.

Traveling Pants…

The piles were neatly folded with good wishes and high hopes for Read more »

Yes!

(posted by Jeanne on 8-18-2010)

Light & Sweet:
When we say “Yes” to the asking, we make room for others to say “Yes” to the giving.

Slice of Love:

Yes!

I waited longer than advised to go for the treatment that fixed my blood. I was having trouble breathing because my red blood count was so low. I was not choosing joy. And then I did. Read more »
